(McHenry, IL) McHenry VFW Post 4600 has put unused Bingo equipment to good use during the pandemic. Fifty banquet tables, 300 chairs, divider units, and stanchions for physical distancing are being used
at a new COVID vaccine dispensing center located on Route 31 and McCullom Lake Road in McHenry.

According to Post Commander Ben Keefe, “Bingo is on hold as a safety precaution. We are proud to let the dispensing center use our equipment in the meantime. The sooner folks get inoculated, the sooner we can get back to Bingo and serving our community at the VFW.”

The McHenry VFW Post 4600 has served the McHenry area more than 50-years. The membership and auxiliary support veterans and their families with basic needs, connections to resources and fellowship. The facilities at their Route 120 location include three bars, a restaurant, banquet space, beer garden, picnic grounds, and four baseball diamonds.

Serving the region with lunch and dinner favorites, Friday Night Fish Fry, Queen of Hearts Raffle, Bingo and many public and private events, VFW has continued to support the community during the pandemic.
