David Badgley is a McHenry resident, small‑business owner, and dedicated community leader. He is the owner of Lumber and Twine, located at 3430 W. Elm Street in McHenry, IL, a business that first launched at the McHenry Riverwalk Shoppes in 2023. As the President of the McHenry Mile, David plays an active role in strengthening the local business community and supporting the growth of small businesses in downtown McHenry.
A graduate of McHenry Community High School, David was a standout baseball player who continued his athletic career at McHenry County College. His deep roots in McHenry have shaped his passion for service, collaboration, and community development.
