About Us
The Miss McHenry Scholarship Pageant is a local scholarship organization dedicated to empowering young women through education, leadership, community service, and personal growth. Our program provides participants with meaningful opportunities to build confidence, develop life skills, and earn scholarships that support their educational goals.
We proudly accept contestants ages 16–21 who reside within the boundaries of McHenry Community High School District 156 and Johnsburg High School District 12. This also includes students attending Marian Central Catholic High School and McHenry County College. Contestants gain valuable experience in interview skills, public speaking, community involvement, and personal development while forming lasting friendships and connections. The winner will receive a $2,000 educational scholarship and the honor of representing McHenry at official events throughout the year, including the Miss McHenry County Fair Pageant.
We are excited to introduce our NEW Princess Pageant for girls ages 5–9! This program focuses on confidence, kindness, and fun, while creating a positive and encouraging first pageant experience. Princess contestants must reside within the boundaries of McHenry School District 15, Harrison School District 36, or Johnsburg School District 12.
The Miss McHenry Area Scholarship Pageant is more than a competition — it’s a platform for growth, opportunity, and celebrating the potential of young women in our community.
