2017 Refresh Leadership Live Simulcast Topics and Speakers Join us for a leadership event you won’t want to miss!Express Employment Professionals presents the 8th annual Refresh Leadership Live Simulcast. Great leaders build great teams. That’s the theme behind the eighth annual Refresh Leadership Live Simulcast. This year’s speaker lineup is well-versed in the essential characteristics of outstanding teams and the role leadership plays in helping them succeed. Patrick Lencioni Leadership Consultant, Speaker, and Best-Selling Author Patrick Lencioni is founder and president of The Table Group, a firm dedicated to providing organizations with ideas, products and services that improve teamwork, clarity, and employee engagement. Prior to founding his firm, he worked as a corporate executive for Sybase, Oracle, and Bain & Company. Lencioni is also the author of 11 best-selling business books. In fact, his book “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” remains a fixture on national best-seller lists. His most recent book is “The Ideal Team Player: How to Recognize and Cultivate the Three Essential Virtues.” Named in Fortune magazine as one of the ‘ten new gurus you should know,’ Pat and his work have been featured in USA TODAY, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Harvard Business Review, to name a few. The Ideal Team Player In this presentation, Lencioni turns his attention to the individual team member to explore the three indispensable virtues that make some people better team players than others—humility, hunger, and people smarts. Whether you’re a leader striving to create a culture of collaboration, an HR professional recruiting team players, or an employee who wants to be a more valuable team member, this talk will provide insights that help you change your organization and career. Jimmy Johnson Two-Time Super Bowl Champion Coach and FOX NFL Sunday Analyst Jimmy Johnson, the architect of the Dallas Cowboys' consecutive victories in Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII, former Miami Dolphins coach, and current member of FOX's NFL Sunday team, is a proven leader and motivator. Johnson served as the Cowboys' head coach from 1989 to March 1994 where he became one of only five head coaches in NFL history to lead a team to back-to-back Super Bowl wins. In three of his final four years with the Cowboys, he was named NFL Coach of the Year. An Arkansas alumnus, Johnson's coaching career began as the defensive line coach at Louisiana Tech in 1965. He later coached at Wichita State, Iowa State, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Pittsburgh, and Oklahoma State University. Teams That Win: Fundamentals for Success During his presentation, Johnson will draw from the lessons he’s learned throughout his legendary coaching career. He’ll offer insight into why building a winning team starts with leadership, and how to bring the best out of every member of an organization through encouragement and respect. Robyn Benincasa World Champion Adventure Racer, CNN Hero, and Firefighter The founder of World Class Teams, Robyn Benincasa is a world champion adventure racer, a CNN Hero, former corporate sales expert, and a full-time firefighter who advises organizations on building World Class Teams of their own.
