Location
Launch at Port Barrington at Fox River Forest Preserve, Pavilion B (28500 W. Robert Rd., Port Barrington, IL 60010). Look for the Northwest CASA signage for registration and breakfast.
Dock at Lions Park to complete the 5-mile route and participate in a Northwest CASA Picnic (747 S. River Rd., Fox River Grove, IL 60021).

Description
Make waves to support survivors in McHenry County.
Every year, Northwest CASA serves hundreds of McHenry residents who have experienced sexual harm. In partnership with McHenry hospitals, police departments, and judicial courts, NW CASA provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, medical advocacy in three hospitals, legal advocacy within all municipalities, and counseling —all of these services are free of charge to survivors and their families.
Join us on a 5- to 10-mile kayaking adventure on the Fox River, and paddle with a purpose to help sustain these essential services in McHenry County.
A limited number of Rental Kayaks will be available to use free of charge.
We strongly suggest you provide your own kayak, if possible.
