The OB Sonographer, working under the direction of our Medical Director, serves as a medical imaging technologist providing care to the patients while maintaining professional standards following the AMA Code of Ethics. Under the general supervision of the nurse / clinic manager, the Sonographer is responsible for providing the limited obstetrical ultrasound services at Focus Women's Center.
Essential Qualifications / Sonographer
- Holds a current and active RDMS credential in OB/GYN from the ARDMS
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in software programs used for documentation and report generation and transmission
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing education within the field
