Have you heard of 815 Day?
The team at Shop 3430 have been hard at work brainstorming and planning for 815 Day. I'm sure you've seen the social media posts, now they need your help getting the word out, getting some volunteers, and building excitement.
1. Mad Soyentist has donated their parade spot to 815 Day. They have the truck and driver, just need 3-4 volunteers to walk in the parade to hand out flyers. Those who volunteer will get one of the very first, hot off the presses, 815 Day logo shirts.
2. Ace Hardware has volunteered their parking lot for a vendor pop up market on 815 Day. Interested home businesses can contact Darius Pfeifer via email dpfeifer@laskowskiace.biz
3. They are still looking for musicians to perform throughout the day at the "clock park" on the corner of Green and 120. Interested people can contact shop3430@gmail.com
4. Please continue to reach out to your business neighbors with suggestions about how they can participate. Think beyond retail and restaurants. Offer solid suggestions about how the insurance agent, lawyer, bank etc can get involve.
