The McHenry Riverwalk Foundation is proud to announce an exciting new community-driven art initiative that will bring residents together to create a mural in downtown McHenry.
This summer, community members of all ages and artistic abilities are invited to participate in the creation of a large-scale mural made up of individually painted tiles. Each tile will serve as a unique expression of creativity, and when combined, will form one powerful image representing the spirit, pride, and unity of the McHenry community.
Participants can purchase a tile kit, which includes everything needed to complete their design—no artistic experience required. Once completed, each tile will become part of the larger mural installation, with the final location to be announced in downtown McHenry.

The completed mural will be unveiled on Saturday, July 4, creating a memorable moment of celebration and community pride during Independence Day festivities.
