The 2026 Miss McHenry Scholarship Pageant & Princess Program Set for July 27 at The Vixen

McHenry, IL – The 2026 Miss McHenry Scholarship Pageant & Princess Program will take place on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM at The Vixen, located at 1208 N. Green St., McHenry, IL 60050. Community members, families, and friends are invited to attend this special evening celebrating confidence, leadership, and community spirit.

The annual event brings together young women and girls from McHenry and surrounding districts for a memorable night of mentorship, personal growth, and achievement.

About the Miss McHenry Scholarship Pageant

The Miss McHenry Scholarship Pageant is a competition for young women ages 16–21, designed to foster leadership, poise, and community pride. Contestants participate in private interviews, sponsor showcases, fitness and evening gown presentations, and on-stage questions.

The newly crowned Miss McHenry will receive a $2,000 educational scholarship, thanks to McHenry Police Officers Association and the honor of representing McHenry at official events throughout the year, including the prestigious Miss McHenry County Fair Pageant. 1st Runner up will take home a $750 educational scholarship thanks to Spa Bleu. Other prizes will be handed out and additional awards will be presented like Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic.

About the Princess Program

The Princess Program is a non-competitive mentorship experience for girls ages 5–9, focused on building friendship, kindness, and confidence. Each Princess is paired with a Miss Contestant for encouragement and guidance, participating in group activities, rehearsals, and an on-stage evening gown walk.

Every Princess is celebrated and recognized, leaving with a crown, sash, t-shirt, and professional photo — creating cherished memories that last a lifetime.

• Limited Spots Available: Only the first 15 applications will be accepted for each program
