Mar Ray Dance Studio Celebrates 65 Years of Dance Excellence in McHenry, Illinois

McHenry, Illinois ‐ May 2024 ‐ Mar Ray Dance Studio proudly announces its 65th anniversary as a pillar of dance education in McHenry, Illinois. Established in 1959 by Marge and Ray Olszewski, the studio has been a beacon of creativity, skill, and community for over six decades.

From its humble beginnings, Mar Ray Dance Studio has flourished under the guidance of family, shaping the lives of countless dancers and igniting a passion for the art of movement. Today, the legacy continues under the ownership of their daughter, Carol Dick, who remains committed to upholding the studio's tradition of excellence.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mar Ray Dance Studio will host its annual dance recital on Saturday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., as well as Sunday, June 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the McHenry Upper Campus High School Auditorium. The recital will showcase the talent and artistry of the studio's dancers, embodying the spirit of dedication and joy that has defined Mar Ray Dance Studio for 65 years.
